We are all tremendously grateful to the people serving on the frontlines of COVID-19 in essential services. This includes healthcare workers, first responders, grocery store clerks, gas station attendants, postal employees, delivery drivers, auto mechanics, and so many more. Not only are they ensuring we have essential care, supplies, and services, but they are often doing it while interacting with members of the public who could potentially make them ill.
You can thank these essential workers during COVID-19 in a variety of ways. Here are just a few ideas: Say thanks, stay at home, drop off meals, hang supportive signs, and be considerate. Palouse Palace thanks all the essential workers for the brave work they continue to do.

Over the past few weeks many people have transitioned to telecommuting to comply with the statewide Stay Home order to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Many others, who are essential workers, will continue to report to their jobs to ensure critical public health, safety and infrastructure functions continue to support Washingtonians. They are making sure that there is food, water, electricity, trash and sanitation services, buses & trains running, and health care services and spaces.
Being an essential worker during the COVID-19 pandemic means potentially exposing themselves and their families to COVID-19 while performing their job duties. Essential workers are having to deal with new stresses of adding social distancing measures to their jobs, shifting work hours, changing childcare needs with school closures among many other challenges, all while serving our Palouse community during this stressful time. Many of these jobs were hard and underappreciated to begin with, even before additional stresses and pressures of COVID-19. We want to take a moment to thank all of the dedicated essential workers that are keeping The Palouse safe and functioning. We see you. We appreciate you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We always want to keep out Palouse Palace customers entertained, that’s why we’re going to start doing virtual game nights! With the stay at home orders due to the coronavirus it can be challenging thinking of new activities to do. All virtual game nights are free, and all you need is a Zoom account. You can play virtual online games with your friends, and even our staff. It can be a little difficult trying to play arcade games virtually, that’s why we’ve chose virtual friendly games that can be easy to use via Zoom. Some games that we’ve decided to add to our game night are Trivia, Scattergories, and Heads Up. Those are just a few of the fun and interactive games we will be having, stop by tomorrow night from 9PM-12am for our first virtual game night! And make sure to stay safe our Palouse Palace family.
As we all know COVID-19 has come and put us all in situations we weren’t expecting. The safety of our workers and customers come first. Even though the arcade and dining area are closed for the time being, we are still working hard to provide our customers with amazing food from our kitchen! All Palouse Palace staff who are working during this time are being trained to take the necessary precautions when handling all food and drink items. We’re taking temperatures of all the workers, created multiple sanitizing stations throughout the building, and making sure masks are worn and gloves are being changed periodically. We look forward to be up and running soon, better than we ever were before!
Now more than ever, we are grateful for the opportunity to provide your family with easy, reliable, and delicious at-home meal solutions.

Finally, our checkout process features contactless payment (Apple Pay, Google Wallet) to provide you, and our Teams, the safest experience possible when you order, pay and pick-up your meals from our restaurants. Thanks so much for being a part of the family. We look forward to serving you again soon! The Palace has been committed to providing fun since it’s opening. During these unprecedented times we have been doing all that we can to continue to serve our wonderful guests. However, in accordance with health agency orders applicable to all restaurant and entertainment businesses and to ensure the health and safety our community, team members and guests, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close all Palouse Palace Locations.
